What is bodily injury?
Bodily injury is the most known as never heard coverage because it is not usually being used when an accident occurred. Why? Because it covers any third party person that was hit by the assured vehicle. It is also included in TPL or Third Party Liability.
Bodily Injury in comprehensive insurance limitations ranges from 100,000 up to 500,000 depending on the coverage. While in TPL the maximum limit is 100,000.
How will Bodily Injury works? In an instance that there’s an accident, the Bodily Injury from the TPL shall be used first. In any cases that there’s an excess, that’s the only time that the bodily injury under the comprehensive insurance will take effect.
Meaning to say, that the bodily injury under comprehensive insurance is just an excess or back up of your bodily injury under TPL.
